The purpose The Ark’s Doggie Daycare and Boarding services is to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating social environment for pets while their owners are at work, or out of town. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:

AGE: All dogs must be at least 4 months of age or older.


SEX: All dogs 8 months or older, must be spayed or neutered.


SHOTS: All dogs must be in good health. Dogs are required to have flea, tick and heartworm protection. Owners will certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

Required vaccinations for all dogs are Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.

Required vaccinations for all cats are Rabies, FeLV, and FVRCP.

BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.


APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file.


AFTER BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS:
There are a couple of things we hope that you will do to insure his or her transition back home. First of all, as we know you will, shower them with love and affection…

Secondly, wait a few hours before feeding, and give water in limited amounts while their systems are settling…

Thirdly, maintain and ordinary routine…

Remember that your pet has probably had an enormous amount of play time and will probably sleep a great deal. This is a normal reaction.
