splish splash doggie bash - 9/7

What's better than a pool party? A dog pool party!! Bring your dog to the first annual City of Doraville Splish Splash Doggie Bash on Saturday, September 7th from 12pm-4pm. Be sure to enter in the doggie fashion show and stop by booths from The Ark Pet Spa & Hotel, The PawStand and WellPet Humane Animal Hospital

dunwoody farmer's market - saturdays

Every Saturday, shop local produce, sweet treats, coffee, fresh meat and seafood, and more at the Dunwoody Farmer's Market. Leashed dogs are welcome to join!

bark in the park - 9/8

You and your dog can cheer on the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park on September 8th at 1:20pm. Purchase your ticket for the Braves vs. Nationals baseball game in advance to save a spot for you and your dog.

strut your mutt walk - 10/5

Take your dog for a walk and raise money for Atlanta animal shelters at the same time! Join this one-mile fundraiser walk at Grant Park on October 5th at 8:00am. The Strut Your Mutt event is hosted by the Best Friend Animal Society

Howl-o-ween spooktacular festival - 10/11

Brookhaven Park, Atlanta's largest dog park, is hosting a special Halloween event just for dogs and their owners. Join in the dog trick-or-treat challenge, dog costume contest, food trucks, music, dog adoption opportunities and more from 1pm-3:30pm. 10% of all profits will be donated to Lifeline Animal Project.

ATLANTA UNDY RUNWALK - 10/26

The National Undy RunWalk is not just an opportunity to run or walk in your underwear. This dog-friendly event hosted by Colorectal Cancer Alliance to raise awareness and help find a cure. Go online to register for the walk or donate to the cause.

ATLANTA FROM THE ASHES: DOWNTOWN TOURs

What makes history more fun? Dogs! Dive into Atlanta's history on a one-hour walking tour of Woodruff Park and surrounding downtown Atlanta historical district. RSVP here to join any of the tours scheduled on the third Saturday of each month from 12pm-1pm.

Remember that not all community events and public spaces are dog-friendly. If you find out that Fido isn't welcome, drop your pup off at doggie daycare on your way into the city. The Ark in Doraville is conveniently located at 6485 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
