A GUIDE TO FEEDING YOUR DOG FROM THE TABLE

Ark Crew • Jul 16, 2019

Dogs know how to get what they want. One look with those puppy eyes can get them a night in the big bed, an extra belly rub or that last bite of steak. Our crew is all about spoiling your pup every once in a while, but we also know that not every kind of treat is safe for dogs to eat. That’s why we’ve provided a convenient list of human-grade foods that you should never share with your pup.

DON'T LET YOUR DOG EAT:

  • Grapes and raisins
  • Chocolate
  • Macadamia nuts
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Avocado
  • Coffee and tea
  • Xylitol (ingredient found in candy, gum and baked goods)
  • Alcohol
  • Nutmeg
  • Lemons and limes
  • Raw yeast dough
  • Almonds
  • Cinnamon
  • Ice cream

Like humans, dogs can have food allergies or intolerances, so what’s safe for one dog may not be the case for another. At the Ark, all of our Slobberbones treats are made with all-natural, dog-approved ingredients to keep your dog happy and healthy. Next time you stop by, fill up a treat bucket from our raw bar or pick out an adorable cookie to take home for your pet.
